Job Description
Ensure incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and outgoing components meet specification before moving downstream. This role is embedded in production and focused on inspection, verification, and documentation—not performing the assembly itself.
If you’re detail-oriented, disciplined, and take pride in catching issues early, this role has real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and parts to verify conformance to specifications
- Perform in-process inspections of fan assemblies, sub-assemblies, and control panel assemblies
- Verify fit, workmanship, wiring integrity, and dimensional accuracy against drawings and work instructions
- Inspect outgoing fans, parts, kits, and control panels prior to release
- Measure and verify components using basic inspection tools (tape measure, gauges, calipers as applicable)
- Log inspection results, defects, and approvals into the company’s quality management system
- Identify nonconformances and escalate issues before defects propagate through production
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Technical Support to address recurring quality issues
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing inspection, quality control, or technical assembly environments
- Familiarity with electromechanical products and basic electrical/control assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Comfortable working in ERP or quality systems for logging and tracking inspections
- Clear communicator who can work constructively with production teams
