The Production Supervisor – Supervises and coordinates activities of production technicians and helpers engaged in operating various machines to manufacture products by performing the following duties. Oversees the daily production activities of a plant or department.
Job Responsibilities
· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
· Suggests changes in conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
· Recommends and implements new procedures.
· Confers with other supervisors/management to coordinate activities of department
· Ensure department and workplace safety by adhering to all federal, state, local, and Company policies and procedures.
· Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work related problems.
Desired Experience
• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
Desired Education
- High school diploma AND some College/Military/Vocational Education Required.
- Bachelor's degree or Food Manufacturing Experience Preferred
