The Semel institute is a seeking to hire a part time limited Project Coordinator. Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigators of the UCLA-Semel Institute, the Project Coordinator will perform the role of Project/Data Manager and will assist in all aspects of research projects.
Major job functions include:
* Preparing and submitting documents to IRB
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of study instruments, questionnaires, and other materials
* Assisting in data management and preliminary analysis
* Preparing project reports, manuscripts, and research grants
* Coordinating study activities with several study sites
* Performing miscellaneous research activities.
Pay Range: $27.09 – $43.58 hourly.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and electronic communications (required)
Fluent in both spoken and written English (required)
Knowledge of research ethics and procedures (required)
Demonstrated ability to keep accurate and detailed records (required)
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (required)
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently (required)
Demonstrated ability to complete complex tasks (required)
Master or higher degree in epidemiology, psychology, sociology, social sciences, or other related fields (preferred)
Experience working on research projects in public health or social sciences (preferred)
Experience working on multicultural/international research projects (preferred)
Experience in writing project reports and research project manuscripts (preferred)
Experience in data management and analysis (preferred)
