Summary


Creates delivery data in SAP to facilitate order process.  Uses High Jump software to assign picking and staging data to orders to flow from picking to loading of trailers.  Coordinates with Trucking Company to get product to customers.   Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.


Job Responsibilities



  • Ensures that product received has been entered into High Jump gun correctly and sent to SAP.

  • Works with Shipping Supervisor to assure that loads in High Jump are being picked according to trucking schedule.

  • Takes data from High Jump and SAP to create reports in Excel for Shipping Department, First Fleet and both Sales and Sales Centers.

  • Maintains files on both inbound and outbound deliveries necessary for Audits.  Assures seal information is on paperwork.

  • Assures trailer logs are maintained and shippers are completing proper paperwork for trailer audits.   Returns to Supervisor for corrections.

  • Assures label printers, guns are sent out for maintenance.   Orders labels for the label printers.

  • Assures Sales Downloads are done timely each and every night.  

  • Back up to Tastyshop Department.  Understands swap, and dating process. 

  • Work with Manager on tracking display orders, assures the orders are fulfilled and maintain the inventory.

  • Schedules all delivery and inbound appointments with outside carriers.

  • Must be available for Saturday work when necessary.

  • Maintains cleanliness of work area.

  • Practice and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.

  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

  • Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).

  • Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.


Desired Experience



  • One year shipping or related experience 

  • Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.  

  • Strong sense of urgency.   Ability to problem solve and analyze department needs with minimal guidance.  

  • Requires the ability to incorporate creative and innovative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently.  

  • Able to maintain a positive and composed attitude while performing within stressful situations and handling complex issues.    

  • Able to handle sensitive/confidential information.    

  • Must be a team player.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.  

  • Proficiency in Excel required and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Access preferred.   

  • Able to perform according to physical requirements.  

  • Able to work a flexible schedule and meet the demands of a 24 hour a day operation.


Desired Education


High School diploma or equivalency.
