In this role, you will perform a variety of duties in cleaning and sanitation and adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Your responsibilities will include, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash in waste bins, cleaning, sanitizing and relining all trash containers and linen hampers. You will also be responsible for proper storage of housekeeping equipment and reporting equipment malfunctions. Responsible for washing dishes, pans, utensils and small equipment according to established procedures.
Salary Rate: $24.32/hourly
* Ability to read and write, follow oral and written instructions in the English language
* Ability to work in a standing position for a long period of time: stretch, bend, stoop and reach repetitively
* Ability to work in hot, cold and/or wet areas, lift 40 lbs., push loaded carts weighing 350 lbs.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule
* Ability to practice safe food handling techniques
* Ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules
* Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers
